Forest Manor

On October 3, 2007, at 12:30 EDT, Canada set a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of people walking one kilometer at the same time. We smashed the existing record of 100,915, set by Western Australia in September 2006 (www.wagiantwalk.com.au).

Way to go Canada.

The World Record Walk was organized by Green Communities Canada (www.greencommunitiescanada.org) with support from the Ontario Ministry of Health Promotion (www.mhp.gov.on.ca).
